Anabezi Camp

This lodge was built in 2013 on a site towards the Eastern side of the Park that has had a camp on it for many years. Plenty of money has been invested in the site and the accommodation is of a high standard. Very large custom designed tents on raised decks each one with a separate sitting area, inside and outside bathrooms as well as private plunge pools on the deck outside.

The camp has 11 luxury tents, 1 family tent and 2 central dining and sitting areas, each of these has its own larger pool and so the camp can effectively be divided into 2 separate camps, Anabezi Camp and Little Anabezi. It is all set a couple of hundred meters back from the bank of the Zambezi river, as you are elevated the views are lovely and they do differ somewhat from one end of the camp to the other.

Operating months are April through to the middle of November, access is by air either using scheduled flights into Jeki which is about 1.5 hours’ drive from camp or by charter into Kulefu Strip which is just 10 minutes away. Activities as with all Lower Zambezi camps are varied walks and drives tend to be very productive in this area of the Park and are complimented by canoe trips, boat cruises and fishing excursions.
