Mvuu Lodge is located on the Lower Zambezi with the escarpments as a back-drop behind. The lodge has seven camping sites - namely Monkey, Mvuu, Elly, Leopard, Warthog, Croc and Lion. Each site has its own ablution facilities comprising of a hot shower, flush toilet and wash basin.
Monkey is a grass camping site that can accommodate about five tents, while Mvuu and Elly are situated on the rivers edge, and can host three and four tents respectively. Leopard also caters for four tents. The other three sites are bush camps located at the back of the lodge and can take three or four tents on each.
Shaka Deluxe is furnished in teak and has a king size bed, two single beds and a lounge area making it the ideal family unit or secluded couples retreat. The Bemba accommodation is consists of tented chalets and stone cottages. All the tents and cottages have views over the Zambezi river. Bird watching and game viewing can be done from your own patio. The units are decorated in a classic safari style and are furnished with either two single beds or one double bed. While the Tonga Chalets offer the same as the bemba, but are self catering units.
