Tangala is actually the private home of Ben Parker and his family, Ben is the owner and founder of Tongabezi and he’s been letting out his home to small groups of guests for some 10 years or more now. Because the house’s availability depends somewhat on the movements of the Parker family it is not always possible to book Tangala but it tends to be available during the busier months and exceptions can always be made so it’s certainly worth checking.
The house will accommodate up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms (3 with en-suite bathrooms), for small groups or families it is certainly the most personalised and exclusive option in the Livingstone area. It comes with a large kitchen / dining room, a children’s play-room, a 12mt. long swimming pool overlooking the Zambezi River and it’s own staff. The overall design of the house is most impressive and shortly after construction was completed, House & Garden Magazine in the UK came out to do a feature on it.
There must be a minimum of 4 guests staying at least 3 nights and each booking has exclusive use of the house.
