Zambezi Grande

Luxury Rooms

Zambezi Grande offers five Luxury Rooms, set slightly further back from the river than the Superior Suites, but still with clear views of the Zambezi.

The rooms are open-plan and comfortably laid out, with either king or twin beds, and each opens onto a private veranda facing the river. Interconnecting options are available, which works well for families or those travelling together.

The style is in keeping with the rest of the lodge, leaning more towards a contemporary design rather than a traditional safari feel.

Each room is en-suite with an indoor shower, and includes practical touches such as a minibar and tea and coffee facilities.

Although not right on the front row, the rooms are well positioned and remain within easy reach of the main lodge area, offering a comfortable and well-priced alternative to the Superior Suites.

Superior Suite

Zambezi Grande offers five Superior Suites, all free-standing and set along the banks of the Zambezi, positioned to provide a high level of privacy and uninterrupted river views.

The suites are spacious and open-plan in design, with a king-size bed and a comfortable seating area, all opening out onto a private veranda overlooking the river. The overall finish is more in line with a boutique lodge than a traditional safari camp, with a focus on clean lines and a more contemporary feel.

Each suite is en-suite and includes a freestanding bath, as well as a river-facing outdoor shower. Additional amenities include a fully stocked minibar and tea and coffee facilities.

The suites are well spaced from one another, and their positioning along the river allows for a quiet and relaxed stay, with the Zambezi very much the focal point.

Zambezi Grande is a small, family-owned game lodge situated on the banks of the Zambezi River a short boat-ride up-stream from the western edge of the Lower Zambezi National Park. It has 10 well-appointed air-conditioned rooms, 5 of these are very spacious, stand-alone “superior suites” each with great views of the river whilst the other 5 “luxury rooms” are smaller and set back a little from the river bank.

The rooms and the communal areas of the camp have been decorated with style and elegance, there is a large deck in-front of camp set up with tables for dining as well as loungers and chairs around the pool which itself over-hangs the river, from its elevated position the views are uninterrupted.

Private in-room spa treatments are offered, you will be able to enjoy the luxurious therapies in the comfort of your own suite with a magnificent African landscape as your backdrop.

Inclusive activities on offer are: game drives, river safaris, fishing, cultural village visits, walking safaris and sundowner cruises.
