Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will assist with baggage and guide you to the domestic check-in counters for your scheduled flight to Mfuwe. This flight, lasting approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, brings you to the South Luangwa National Park, renowned for its breathtaking scenery and wildlife.
Day 1
Mfuwe Lodge
Your first night will be spent at Mfuwe Lodge, a luxurious and welcoming retreat located just inside the South Luangwa National Park. The lodge is famous for its exceptional hospitality and unique wildlife encounters, including elephants that occasionally wander through the lobby during mango season!
Relax in one of the spacious chalets overlooking the lagoon, and enjoy your first game drive or an afternoon at the pool before savoring a delicious dinner under the stars.
Days 2–9
Bushcamp Company Camps
For the next eight nights, you’ll experience an incredible safari adventure at a selection of Bushcamp Company’s exclusive camps. Each camp offers a unique location and character, ensuring a varied and immersive experience of the South Luangwa wilderness.
These intimate, remote camps are known for their exceptional guiding, warm hospitality, and incredible access to wildlife. Activities include guided walking safaris, game drives, and night drives, where you’ll have the chance to see leopards, lions, and other nocturnal creatures.
Accommodation at the Bushcamp Company camps is in luxurious, well-appointed chalets or tents, each designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Expect exceptional service, gourmet meals, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Day 10
After nine unforgettable nights in South Luangwa, a scheduled flight will return you from Mfuwe to Lusaka. Upon arrival, our representative will assist you with baggage and check-in for your onward journey.
